Activum Real Estate Consulting announces its participation in Alastria.
Alastria is a non-profit association that promotes the digital economy through decentralised technology development/Blockchain.
One of the main objectives of Alastria is to activate the knowledge of blockchain by proposing use cases for the real world. The aim is to create a space for collaboration between all stakeholders in the real estate sector.
Alastria is a semi-public, non-profit, multi-sector blockchain platform. The association brings together more than 500 members from different sectors and sizes. This initiative is led by the following companies in the real estate sector Metrovacesa, KPMG y Datacasa Proptech.
The aim of this ambitious project is to explore the possibilities of the new circumstances in the real estate sector. To promote joint projects, investigating predefined lines of work and their applications to the Real Estate value chain and thus facilitate the realisation of projects between the partners in the Alastria ecosystem.
The blockchain is a technology that has the potential to become the biggest breakthrough in history after the internet. Blockchain could transform industries by decentralising trust, generating an exchange of goods and services without the need for third parties. This would be possible because the information circulating through shared accounting records would be verified, as would those at the ends.
The information present in this technology is entered by means of an unalterable register (guaranteed by cryptography), which is replicated in all participants and is accessible to all of them. This allows participants to offer and receive services with legal effectiveness in Spain and in accordance with European regulations.
